We really enjoyed our stay. Going during the off season (October) provided us with empty beaches, very quiet nights, no traffic, and easy access to entertainment and restaurants. The ocean water was still warm and we had the fortune of seeing wild boars and monkeys in the neighborhood. The lack of cars made it safe to walk several miles along the coastal road to visit several other beaches. The outdoor shower (hot and cold water) makes a great addition to remove all the sand before entering the home. The home has amazing AC.

The photos don’t even do the place justice. It’s spacious, beautiful, clean and so close to a great beach. My family had a great week here and everyone was very comfortable. Couple things to note: 1. The second shower is outside, so there is only one shower and a tub inside. Worked fine for us. 2. There are spiders and other insects that want to get in (and sometimes do get in), so make sure you always close the door. :) Or use one of the bug sprays that Billy put by the entrance door. Definitely a great place to stay for a beach vacation.

Great beach getaway. Short walk to the beach and bus stop. Great local restaurants. Great kitchen. Very spacious with big common area. Air conditioning worked great in hot summer temperatures. Beach chairs and boogie boards a plus. Host arranged cab service, when needed. Great find!

Billy was really helpful and kind. He helped us get cabs everyday and was always available when we needed him. His friend Brian also was super sweet and made a couple of runs to the station on our way out.

Billy's place was great for our party of 8, very spacious for Japan. It is a short walk to the beach down a very quiet small road/lane. The beach is beautiful with nice sand and a quiet ocean and was very safe for the kids to swim at. We'd definitely stay again. As Billy says, it is an environment where insects and bugs etc are to be expected. This was no problem for us, but some care is needed when opening doors and windows, to make sure gaps are closed at night to keep the mosquitos out. We had a minivan, the closet parking spot was too tight for daily usage, but the other parking location a few minutes away was perfect.

Excellent service and area, quite refreshing to be trusted and treated like an adult with swift answers to possible questions. Overall i recommend this place to all my friends who travel in groups of 5 or more.

We LOVED staying at the Aqua House! Our group of eight was comfortable in the well-appointed but relaxed setting. A favorite of our group was walking to the 5-star (our rating) Doug Bakery for pastries every morning. The beach and surrounding nature was for gorgeous. We will definitely be back!

Estadia perfeita para nosso grupo de 9 pessoas, casa espaçosa com uma decoração que combinava com a vibe da praia . Eu me hospedaria aqui novamente . A great place for relax with family in the weekend, big house near the beach. Really valuable for the price to stay and super clean. Billy let us check out later and paid reasonable price.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this home. We arrived with two little ones and felt right at home. It was easy to find and within walking distance of the beach. There is a local pizza place close by that was fantastic and the staff gave great recommendations on additional beaches to check out in the area. This was one of the best airbnb stays we have had. I wish we had booked an entire week! Thank you!!
